This course is designed to equip Forest Managers with the skills and knowledge to ensure that timber resources and forestry processes utilise environmentally sustainable work practices. The course looks at maximising value from wood residues, manage tree harvesting to minimise environmental impact, develop biohazard contingency plans, prepare enterprise carbon management reports, develop engineered timber products for energy efficient building, undertake carbon storage sampling of forests and plan storage systems for carbon capture.
