Deputy Director Jin Ling of Chongqing Municipal Education Commission visited Association of China-Spain Science and Technology

On December 18, 2024, Ms. Jin Ling, Deputy Director of Chongqing Municipal Education Commission, and her delegation visited Association of China-Spain Science and Technology and had a cordial exchange with Professor Wang De-Yi who is the President of the Association of China-Spain Science and Technology and the Member of European Academy of Sciences. During the meeting, Deputy Director Jin Ling introduced in detail the characteristics and advantages of Chongqing in the cultivation of high-tech talents, high-tech industries and high education, and expected to strengthen the comprehensive cooperation between Chongqing universities and IMDEA Materials Institute and the Association of China-Spain Science and Technology in the future, especially in the cultivation of high-level talents, international scientific and technological cooperation and the construction of scientific research platforms. During the visit, Deputy Director Jin Ling also visited the High-Performance Polymer Nanocomposite Group led by Professor Wang De-Yi and the Fire Safety Materials Laboratory, and listened in detail to the cutting-edge progress of the new generation of flame retardant materials and fire safety materials.

Also participating in the visit and communication were Ms. Jiang Yan (Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department of Chongqing Municipal Education Commission), Professor Hu Hua (Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department of Chongqing University of Posts and Telecommunications), Professor Xu Houzhi (Deputy Director of the International Cooperation and Exchange Department of Chongqing Jiaotong University) and Ms. Zhao Xinyi of Chongqing Second Normal University.
